How you can help

During your stay you may see something that makes you want to help, or you may want to find out more about what is being done.  At ConCERT.. you will find information on a range of activities that need your support.  There are projects engaged in most aspects of community development and poverty alleviation.

Click on the Siem Reap Organisations button for information about our members.  Nearly all need money, some have sponsorship schemes, many need materials and volunteers, and often they don’t ask for special skills - just your enthusiasm.  Some organisations are happy if you can spare them a few weeks, some have placements for a few months.

Complete our I Want to Help.. form and we can suggest organisations that would suit the help you can give.

Alternatively, drop in at the ConCERT.. office when you get to Siem Reap.  Our staff will be happy to chat about the various ways you can help.  They will also be pleased to share with you information about the wider issues in Cambodia.

Ways to help include:

  • Providing resources
    • Materials
    • Fundraising activities at home
    • Longer term sponsorships
    • Cash donations
  • Becoming an ambassador for your chosen organisation
  • Volunteering

Alternatively, you may wish to support the work of ConCERT..  Any funds we receive in excess of our running costs are used to run projects of our own, particularly in the areas of community development, sustainable agriculture, and environmental education.
