About the Global Village Association

Global Village Association Logo

A gathering of people of multi nationals and diverse cultural background.
The objectives:

 

  • To foster awareness of our global environmental crisis and gather support to protect our planet.
  • To help those with special needs share their gifts and inspiration with the world around us.
  • To inspire Humanity to embrace a deeper meaning and a higher calling, starting with each person who is ready to change.
  • To bring our message to the masses through sharings, gatherings and cultural exchanges.
  • To raise funds and support internationally for our projects.

Why Global Village?
Because we see the Earth as a tiny globe in the vast universe.
Because the Planet Earth is one and that we all actually One People.
So One land, One People and One Village.

Our Activities

  • Through information from the Hobbies Lists people can form small interest groups and interact among themselves.
  • Through the Service Pool teacher can find students and also vice versa.  Members can easily find the kind of services that suit themselves and help each other.
  • Through Swap Meet, once a year, we can recycle all our unused materials at home. We start with books, CDs, VCDs to exchange or simply give away.  No money is involved.
  • Through other activities like Art workshop, Yoga Meditation, Festivals, Seminars on subjects like environment, nature, health, etc., people can really experience the pleasure of learning.
  • We promote children play group with easy learning of arts and crafts, baking cookies and other fun games.
  • We welcome suggestions from the members for new ideas.

NO joining fee for Global Village Association.  We wish to reach out to as many people as possible in all walks of life - Single or Family Membership.
For family membership, spouse or children over 16 years old is counted as one member.  Children under 16 are not counted but very welcome.

We hope that Global Village Association could provide an opportunity where people could reach out and touch each other, leading to more understanding, more tolerance, more harmony and of course more love.
