| About The Trailblazer Foundation |
What We Do! Trailblazer uses an innovative, grassroots “bottom-up” approach to rural development. We team up with local villagers and government on various projects which they request. With their active cooperation Trailblazer provides appropriate technology to assist villagers in helping themselves.
Integrated and sustainable projects include: clean water initiatives [well drilling, bio-sand filtration]; development of agricultural programs [vegetable gardens, fish farms]; vocational training [well drilling, cosmetology, sewing]; school construction; as well as the establishment of village committee controlled funds for the micro-financing of local businesses.
