About Helping Hands Cambodia

Helping Hand CambodiaUntil April of 2005 Deborah Groves was operating a wedding photography business on Australia's Sunshine Coast.  She now lives and works in CAMBODIA, where she has set up a grass roots aid organisation called Helping Hands Cambodia which helps poor Cambodians, specifically in the village of Prasat Char in Siem Reap province.
This work is funded by the generosity of family, friends, schools, clubs and even strangers.  Deborah still supports herself through her photography by selling her photographs in a number of hotel souvenir shops, book shops, galleries and airport shops.
Helping Hands has grown from Deborah just trying to help one family to trying to help an entire village.  Helping Hands has just been registered in Cambodia as an NGO (non government organisation).  It now has a director and a committee.
